A Christmas Project

It's nice to show different ways to give gift cards and vouchers. This is a project we made at my last class. It uses the petite pocket die on the Big Shot and Cherry Cobbler.

I've used a strip of the Be of Good Cheer Designer paper around the petite pocket and embossed the stamped portions to make it pop. I also sponged around the edge of the very vanilla card stock with crumb cake to give it a more vintage look. This is a really easy and cutegift card holder!

Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Gumball Green card stock
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Stamp set: Tags til Christmas
Accessories: Big Shot, Petite Pocket die, Be of Good Cheer designer paper, Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, circle and scallop circle punches.

Have a great week!

A pretty Congratulations

Last week I had the lovely Mam join my team of demonstrators and this is the card I made her to say congratulations. I've been wanting to experiment with stamping layers with different coloured inks and Everything Eleanor is the perfect stamp set to do this with. I stamped white card stock with crumb cake, early espresso (both full and stamped off) and pool party. It's a lovely combo of colours, I then embossed with perfect polka dots folder.

Card stock: whisper white, crumb cake and pool party
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pool Party
Accessories: Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder, Big Shot, Rhinestones, Whisper White Organza ribbon
Stamp Set: Everything Eleanor, Curly Cute

It's creeping up on us! With this in mind I am holding a Christmas Stamp-a-stack class this Friday at 10 am or 7pm.

Here is one of the cards we will be making (6 cards, 2 of each design).

I know it's not very clear but it features gold embossing on the snowflakes and on the Heart of Christmas stamp too.

A Heartfelt Stamping Event - Auckland

Yesterday I attended my first Stampin Up regional event in Auckland. It was a really exciting day as I got to meet with and see other demonstrators work in the share boards and also attend seminars full of ideas for Christmas decorating and crafts.

I also got to play with some products I hadn't used before such as the tabletop paper cutter, coredinations paper stock and sanders and the brayer. It's nice to see the demonstraters on the product playground areas so willing to share their knowledge and techniques and the event showed just how supportive stampers are to each other.

Here are some photos I took at the event:

The top photo is of a Christmas wreath covered in flowers made from designer series papers, next is a selection of gorgeous boxes, followed by an ornament made from stamps and matching framelits from the new holiday catalogue and finally a great way to use up all that brown paper packing from our deliveries, stamped and gorgeous as gift wrapping.
